Care & FAQ

What fabric is used for UnderFit undershirts?

At UnderFit, we want to make sure our product is not causing harm to the environment. Lenzing, the producer of the Modal raw material, only uses timber from sustainably grown forest plantations. Cotton, on the other hand, requires agricultural land and 15 times more water to produce compared to the Modal materials.

UnderFits are made of a special fabric blend of 95% Modal and 5% Spandex. Modal offers exceptional softness, superb temperature regulation, and moisture absorption which draws away moisture, whereby inhibiting bacteria growth, especially in the underarm area. All these attributes make Modal the ideal fabric for an undershirt.

Modal is a made by the world’s leading specialty fiber producer, Lenzing. It is very expensive, but it’s worth every cent because it allows us to create a fantastic product.

Are UnderFit undershirts really worth $25?

At UnderFit, we realize $25 for an undershirt is expensive, but remember the old saying — You get what you pay for.

Our fabric for each shirt costs $5. Manufacturing a precise shirt like this is also considerably more expensive than most people think. None of our competitors use fabric that is this expensive.

Our shirts also last much longer than an $8 department store undershirt. You will be able to wear an UnderFit for years, with the same fit and feel as the day it arrived. Regular undershirts will lose their shape well before an UnderFit.

The question to ask yourself is, do I want to be comfortable for years in an UnderFit and look better, or do I want to save a few bucks, whereby sacrificing daily comfort?

If you haven’t tried an UnderFit, honestly, you don’t know what you’re missing.

How do I care for my UnderFit undershirts to get the longest life out of the shirt?

Wash and dry however you want! They won’t shrink. You will be able to wear an UnderFit for years, with the same fit and feel as the day it arrived.
