Ridiculously Soft, Sustainable & Durable

The secret to UnderFit’s superior comfort starts with the fabric. We use a luxurious, sustainably sourced TENCEL™ fabric blend. It feels great against your skin, provides all-day comfort and is built to last.

Why We Chose TENCEL™

Our products are made from the perfect combination of Lenzing TENCEL™ Modal and Lyocell, two incredibly resilient semi-synthetic fibers knit together to create undershirts that are breathable, move with you all day, and retain their shape for years to come. You’ll never want to go back to cotton.

We’re Not Perfect, But We’re Trying

  • Fabric Born From Nature

The fibers used to create TENCEL™ come from Beechwood and Eucalyptus trees, which are sustainably farm-grown in Europe to help us avoid deforestation.

  • Sustainable Production

Our TENCEL™ fabric blend is made from a solvent-spinning process that actually recycles water and reuses its solvent at a recovery rate of 99%. Each step helps maximize how much fabric is created while reducing overall waste.

  • Biodegradable & Compostable

TENCEL™ is certified biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil, and marine conditions. That means that in the unlikely event that an UnderFit undershirt ends up in a landfill, it’ll break down and its fibers will be absorbed back into Earth with no added chemical waste.

  • USDA Certified Biobased Product

Lenzing TENCEL™ has earned United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred designation.

  • Ethical Manufacturing

Our factory partner in Vietnam is FairLabor and WRAP Gold Certified, assuring safe, legal and ethical manufacturing processes.

  • Carbon Offset Shipments

FreightClub, our commercial freight partner, offsets 100% of CO₂ emissions for our freight shipments from Los Angeles to our warehouse Newville, PA. Since January 2021, Freight Club has planted over 20,000 trees in the United States.
